The iXdrive S6 self-propelled sprayers, designed with a focus on operator comfort and environmental protection, offer easy in-cab operations and stability during work and transport. The iXdrive S6 series comes with the iXdrive HP as the base model and the HP ECODRIVE as the premium model with a JD Power Stage V engine. The iXdrive is standardly equipped with the iXclean® Pro valve control system and iXflow-E® for continuous circulation with independent nozzle control.
What else does the iXdrive S6 offer?
The iXdrive S6 sprayer series is standardly equipped with a high-performance (HP) hydrostatic drive. The advanced hydraulic setup leads to more efficient use of available power. The iXdrive S6 has a low center of gravity thanks to its integrated tank and compact dimensions, which is an advantage at high operating speeds, making it safe during transport. The sprayer is equipped with three steering modes: front-wheel steering, four-wheel steering, and crab steering.
iXdrive S6 Booms
The Kverneland iXdrive S6 self-propelled sprayer features durable HSS aluminum and HSA steel booms. The HSS steel booms combine minimal weight with maximum strength and stability. Specially hardened Domex steel gives these booms a long lifespan and high quality. Aluminum bonding instead of welding for the HSA aluminum booms reduces weight and provides remarkable strength.
Boom Control for the Kverneland iXdrive S6 Self-propelled Sprayer
Boom Guide ensures perfect terrain following and high precision. The Boom Guide sensor technology provides boom guidance in many different and difficult conditions, easing the operator's task by allowing them to remain focused on spraying. This advanced system uses three ultrasonic sensors to perfectly control the boom geometry even in the most challenging field conditions.
The system has three configurations that allow the sprayer to be adapted to your specific needs through the Pro, ProActive with 3 sensors, and ProActive with 5 sensors on the boom versions.
How does the iXclean Pro system work in Kverneland self-propelled sprayers?
iXclean® Pro is a fully automatic electric valve control system. This means all functions can be controlled from the cab. Switching between different functions, such as filling, mixing, spraying, rinsing, and tank cleaning, is extremely easy with the push of a button!
In addition to automatic filling, iXclean® Pro also offers a fully automatic rinsing and cleaning system for the entire sprayer. With the push of a button, the complete cleaning process begins, which includes all pipelines and takes only a few minutes, using minimal amounts of clean water, with residual levels after this process being below 1%.
How does the iXflow-E system work in Kverneland self-propelled sprayers?
iXflow-E® is a continuous circulation system with electronic nozzle control. It provides free circulation of chemicals, returning the liquid to the tank as soon as spraying stops. This means there is no sedimentation in the spray line, and no dead ends during spraying or cleaning, even when the booms are in a vertical position. Each section is pressurized, allowing the operator to start spraying immediately with the correct pressure.
