Berthoud Raptor self-propelled sprayer
Why choose the Berthoud Raptor self-propelled sprayer?
A high-tech spraying system with the option for further upgrades of precision farming functions, combined with the best boom suspension from Excel Industries – so you can rest assured that your crops receive the best care! More freedom in the field with hydraulic ground clearance adjustment* and hydraulic track width adjustment*! The Berthoud Raptor self-propelled sprayer is designed for intensive farming conditions, ensuring comfortable operation and spraying efficiency. The self-propelled sprayer is available with tank capacities from 3200 liters to 5200 liters and several boom models with lengths from 24 to 42 meters. Create the best combination of tank volume and boom length that will give you maximum productivity relative to the size of your fields and farm.

The Berthoud Raptor self-propelled model features:
- Metal chassis for greater stability and durability during intensive operation
- Four-wheel control and drive in various operating modes: Front axle steering, four-wheel steering with crab steering functions and correction for side-slope driving
- Driven by a Bosch Rexroth hydrostatic transmission
- Deutz engine with Tier 4f standard
- Multifunctional joystick for controlling spraying and some hydraulic functions remotely
- Omega twin-turbine centrifugal pump with two working circuits and a capacity of 550 l/min at an operating pressure of 3 bar.
- DUALMATIC system, reducing residual solution quantities in the system
Among the innovations in self-propelled sprayers is the Spraytronic system – it solves one of the biggest problems for modern farmers: the narrow operating speed range within which a sprayer can ensure quality spraying by providing a consistent droplet size for the chemical – meaning the droplets are neither too large nor too small. The solution to this problem comes through Spraytronic and the pulse modulation characteristic of the system's operation. It allows for rate control while maintaining constant pressure – thus, the droplet size is always uniform.
Spraytronic functions:
- Nozzle-by-nozzle spray control;
- Pulse modulation - operation with a selected nozzle at various speeds and rates;
- Ability to operate with pre-set system pressure;
- Constant circulation of solution in the boom;
- Instant start of spraying after activation.
