Casella Reels – Turbine Retraction
Product Description
Casella Hose-Reel Irrigation Systems with turbine retraction are simplified, durable, and efficient. The systems feature a hot-dip galvanized chassis, and the supporting structure offers high resistance, suitable for many years of use even with frequent relocation.
Casella Hose Reels are seasonally movable and can be directly supplied with water from an existing source. The manufacturer Casella, in cooperation with NIK, can provide the necessary equipment with a short lead time for production and delivery, allowing farmers to react quickly when an irrigation system is needed for the current irrigation season.

Key Features of Casella Hose Reels
Turbine
The hose retraction turbine is a latest-generation model, featuring an internal bypass valve directly connected to the gearbox. It can be driven mechanically or electrically.
Hose Diameter and Length
Various configurations of Casella hose-reel irrigation systems are available, with hose diameters ranging from 63 to 125 mm and hose lengths from 210 to 620 m.
Manual or Hydraulic Rotation of the Upper Frame
Casella hose reels offer hydraulic lifting of the three-wheeled cart via long supports, allowing the cart to be positioned anywhere regardless of the terrain.
Other Features of Casella Hose-Reel Irrigation Systems
- High-quality tires or steel wheels filled with cement for maximum stability.
- Large diameter inlet sections for energy saving.
- Control panel for adjusting hose retraction speed, equipped with a solar panel and a stainless steel box.

Founded in 1954, Casella is a leader in manufacturing irrigation reels, distinguished not only by its quick order processing and delivery, but also by its high quality and expert after-sales service.
The primary focus in manufacturing Casella reels is on quality, durability, ease of operation, and minimal costs.
Casella was the first to introduce the use of a small diesel engine for retracting the sprinkler instead of a turbine. This innovation allows the pressure generated by the pump to be used solely for irrigation, with a minimal average diesel fuel consumption of 300 g/hour. This significantly reduces annual irrigation costs.
The company boasts a large production facility, office building, and spare parts warehouse, spanning a total area of 75,000 m2. This enables Casella to provide the necessary equipment with extremely short production and delivery times, while simultaneously guaranteeing high product quality and expert after-sales service in cooperation with NIK.
