The Water Distribution System (VRI) from Valmont Irrigation is ideal for fields with different soil types and varying topography. Valley VRI allows you to set the desired irrigation rate in individual sectors (VRI Speed Control) or to manage individual zones (VRI Zone Control).
- VRI Speed control — possibility of up to 180 sectors with different irrigation rates
- VRI Zone control — possibility of up to 5000 managed zones to achieve the desired norm
- VRI-IS — possibility of individual control of sprinklers
Valley VRI Speed Control is suitable for basic VRI control and more efficient water application. VRI Speed control is included in all Valley ICON panels and in Valley 365.
• The field is divided into a maximum of 180 sectors, with optimized water application everywhere.
• Custom VRI prescription speeds up or slows pivot movement to achieve the desired irrigation rate in each sector.
WRI Zone Control
Valley VRI Zone Control allows you to maximise the efficiency of the application of the guide in more problematic areas, such as those with diverse topography.
• The field can be divided into sectors with optimized water application in each individual zone.
• Custom VRI prescription actuates sprinkler control valves along pivot length to reach required irrigation rate.
• It is possible to control start/stop in areas of the field

• Available as part of Valley 365, our online platform.
• The terrain is divided into sectors every 0.1 degrees.
• Custom VRI prescription changes cost rates or stops individual sprinklers on non-irrigated areas.
• Each sprinkler has a set flow rate.
