It was Casella who introduced the use of a small diesel engine to retract the spreader instead of a turbine. This innovation allows the pressure created by the pump to be used solely and exclusively for irrigation with a minimum average diesel fuel consumption of 300 g/hour. Thus, irrigation costs on an annual basis can be significantly reduced.

The company has a large production base, office building and spare parts warehouse with a total area of 75,000 m2.
