Kverneland TLD – Vibrating cultivator

Thanks to its excellent weight distribution, precise depth control, and optimal ability to follow ground contours, the Kverneland TLD seedbed cultivator creates perfect conditions for sowing in all soil types. Finer soil particles are deposited in the lower cultivated layer to create conditions for rapid and uniform germination and to prevent moisture loss, while larger clods remain on the surface to reduce the risk of surface capping. Versions with working widths from 5.1m to 8.1m are available.

TLD models feature a robust 3-section folding frame, which helps limit the machine's overall transport height. Regardless of the model, the transport width does not exceed 2.5 m.

Robust Frame

•The Kverneland TLD features a robust three-section folding frame, which helps limit the machine's overall transport height. Regardless of the model, the transport width is under 2.50m.
•The main frame beam is 100 x 100 x 8mm.
•One hydraulic cylinder is used for folding 5.10m and 6.10m machines, and two cylinders for 7.10m and 8.10m machines.
•Hydraulic valves secure the lock in working or transport position.

Working Parts

A wide range of working parts is available for all conditions.

Four types of working parts are available depending on the soil type or the task at hand:

4) Straight tine 45 x 10mm

Perfect depth control

• Designed for precise seedbed preparation:
• An odd-numbered wheel configuration within the machine's frame ensures even pressure on all wheels.
• A graduated scale on the depth adjustment mechanisms allows precise adjustment of each wheel.
• An optional hydraulic accumulator is available for hilly terrain – for perfect contour following and frame protection.
• The TLD can be equipped with steel wheels 500×165 or rubber wheels 6.00×9 (10-ply, to prevent punctures).

Accessories

Additional soil preparation can be carried out using the following accessories:

• Clod breaker, whose height and angle can be adjusted for leveling and breaking.
• Clod Board: leveling tool with mechanical or hydraulic adjustment. For perfect breaking with vibrating elements. It can be fully raised if not needed.
• Tractor track eradicators with non-stop protection
• Leveling tines, with adjustable angle and pressure
• Single crumbling roller, diameter 310mm.
• Double crumbling roller, diameter 310/280mm, mounted on a parallelogram.
• Combi-discs mounted in front of a single or double roller
