The seeder of the Optima SX high-growth planter ensures maximum productivity and efficiency. With precise seed singulation, precise seed placement and an operating speed of up to 18 km/h, the Optima SX seeder is up to 50% more efficient than the standard HD-II.
The seeder is combined with the telescopic Optima V, which enables quick change of row spacing between 45 and 80 cm.

Seeder Optima SX
With a pressure seeder, the seeds are launched from the air at a speed of 70 km/h towards the furrow. The intermediate blunting wheel catches and protects the seeds. Negative influences, such as vibrations between the seed release point and contact with the soil, are eliminated thanks to the high air velocity.
What Kverneland Optima SX gives you
The seeds reach the perfect position in the soil. Each sowing row is electrically driven via an ISOBUS connection. An additional generator or other power is not required. Full propulsion and control are carried out by ISOBUS.

ISOBUS connection to any control terminal — Trimble, Muller, Tellus or Tellus Pro from Kverneland! The data from the seeder are accessible via the ISOBUS terminal as
IsoMatch Tellus PRO, Tellus GO or Trimble navigation receiver with ISOBUS compatibility.
Advantages
Optimal control of the depth of seed laying, thanks to the weight of the seeder, which has the additional possibility of adding pressure (up to 100 kg) to each section by means of a hydraulic cylinder or with a spring.
Effectively following the contours of the terrain, thanks to the support wheels (⌀410mm, with 120mm). Precise laying of the seeds from the opening discs, which form a neat bed. The good laying and covering of the seeds is carried out by the intermediate blunting wheel and the multifunctional V-shaped closing wheel.
e-drive II — full control and monitoring of the machine from the tractor in accordance with ISOBUS standard. With e-drive II, each seeder is individually driven by an electric motor. The sowing itself is monitored by means of an optical sensor.
An electric motor requiring minimal maintenance is connected directly to the seeding mechanism by means of a toothed belt encapsulated in a dust-proof housing. This allows for a compact design and smooth movement with low power consumption.
The distance between the rows can be changed during sowing, as well as each row can be turned off individually.
In combination with the “narrow” row spacing of 37.5 cm, an additional advantage of the e-drive/e-drive II is offered: Individual row spacing switching. Rails can be set relative to the sprinkler wheel.
