What is the best-selling lawn mower in Bulgaria and why?

The most independent source of data on the sale of attachments at European level is SEMA — cema-agri.org. Data from the European Association of Agrotechnics Manufacturers (CEMA) clearly indicate that in 2019.leader in the category of grinders on the Bulgarian market is the Norwegian brand Kverneland(Exacta TL GEOSPREADand Kverneland Exacta CL GEOSPREAD). SEMA collects the data directly from its members all the leading producers of agricultural machinery, and each is obliged to submit the numbers that have been delivered to the respective market. This allows for extreme transparency and gives clarity to each manufacturer in which country what market share their machines have.

However, what are the reasons why Kverneland is the most preferred roaster in our country?

To be objective, our team gathered the facts in one place, namely what really sets Kverneland roasters apart. From the many technical specifications and details, as well as with the help and opinion of the farmers in our country, we have collected for you the first 3 technical parameters that make the sprayers extremely precise.

Fertilize precisely with the best-selling mower of 2019*!

The patented CenterFlow fertilizer spreading system

Starting with the fact that Kverneland holds a patent for technical performance, and nowadays patents are mostly intellectual property, it led us to check what exactly this system does and what its advantage is in the field.

The mechanism of operation of the spreader disc consists of the preliminary swirling of the fertilizer, and at the moment when the fertilizer reaches the disc and the blades, it is already moving and has a speed that requires much less force on the part of the blades, for the realization of, for example, a 36-meter flight of a single granule of fertilizer. As a result, less dusting of fertilizer is observed.

The second advantage of this mechanism is working in a lateral slope, which makes fertilization regardless of the specifics of the field — the mower fertilizes equally well on sloping terrain, because the granules always fall in the right place on the blades.

On sloping terrain, fertilizer always falls into the right place on the disc, because there is no free fall and brushes to direct the fertilizer:

ISOBUS control

Nowadays, everyone wants to be independent, and the ISOBUS communication protocol gives just that — independence.

ISOBUS is not just one of the “extras” of the Kverneland mower. In 1986, the ISOBUS communication protocol was launched at the research and development center of the mechatronics unit of Kverneland. The patent, which has a period of 25 years, was prematurely released by the company in 2001 in order for more companies to access it and implement it in their machines, which is actually one of the main reasons why today almost every brand can offer ISOBUS connectivity.

Kverneland mowers are ISOBUS compliant and AEF certified, which enables complete control of functions from a number of terminals and allows many farmers in Bulgaria to connect their machines directly to the ISOBUS display available on the tractor, without having to make an additional investment in a Kverneland terminal specifically for the control of the mower.

For example, farmers such as Plamen Vladimirov and Borislav Mitov, whose stories you have seen on our pages, manage their roosters directly from the Trimble navigation systems they work with in other field operations.

Sectional control

Kverneland were the first roasters with sectional control. Today, at first glance, every modern roaster has a sectional control option, but what distinguishes the one that GEOSPREAD models possess?

The technical parameters that allow between 5 and 15% savings on fertilizers are the possibility of managing 54 sections, with a width of 1 meter each. Thus, the passage in the areas to the edge line becomes much more precise than with a mower with only 12 sections, each of 3 or 4 meters, and the amount of fertilizer saved increases due to the smaller overlap.

The device of the roaster allows staggered stopping of all sections from left to right and from right to left, including passing through the middle and fertilizing with less than half the working width. Thus, even the smallest corners do not remain unobstructed and at the same time the overlap in them is minimized.

What else?

So far we have gone through three of the main functions that, even if they seem basic, make Kverneland mowers one of the most preferred fertilizing machines in our country. But what else makes them as accurate as everyone already knows? Look forward to our next releases to find out!
