What is the Trimble Field IQ Inventory Control System?

FieldIQ is a system that connects to the navigation in the tractor and the thresher/sprayer or planter attached to it allowing to control the rate of application of materials. When connected to a CFX-750 or FMXTM display during spraying operation, FieldIQ enables the individual sections to be stopped and released to avoid overlaps when spraying, or to spray only certain sections of the wings to compensate for missed streaks or to finish the plot when it is of irregular shape.The system controls sections by allowing them to be stopped and started in stages, and can also be used for variable rate application. This allows to strictly monitor the amount of material input and eliminate overlaps by controlling up to 6 different materials when connected to a Trimble FMXtm display and 2 materials when connected to a Trimble CFX-750 display. The FieldIQ material control system in combination with the Trimble CFX-750 display can be easily transferred from one machine to another, allowing farmers to operate the same section and material control system in all treatments, including sowing, fertilizing and spraying with different herbicides and fungicides. This allows easy and at the same time precise control of the materials used, as well as monitoring the amount of materials used in the different treatments in a given field and analyzing the yield after harvest.
