Trimble acquires Müller-Elektronik

On 24.05.17, the leader in precision farming technologies Trimble announced the signing of an agreement to acquire the German company Müller-Elektronik. The company says that the transaction is about to be finalized in the coming months.Trimble is a market leader in its field and in Bulgaria, and in our country the technologies for precision agriculture have been offered exclusively by NIK for more than 10 years. In 2015, the company launched the first Android-based navigation display for agricultural machines, which today is one of the displays with the most functionality. Among them are the possibility of automated turning at the end of the row, application of variable rate materials and many others.Müller-Elektronik offers solutions for precision agriculture, including technologies for managing agricultural machinery and raw materials — seeds, fertilizers and pesticides. The company has also played a major role in the development of ISOBUS technology, which allows the control of various machines and inventory from a single device. This shortens the processing time and facilitates the transmission of information and the control of the machines.In connection with the acquisition of Müller-Elektronik, Daryl Matthews, Senior Vice President of Trimble, said:
