In the series Young in Agriculture, we continue to reveal the continuity between generations and young people who have accepted agriculture as their vocation and the path of the developed.
Today we will meet you with Ognyan Ognyanov.
Hello! Introduce yourself in a few words
Hello. My name is Ognyan and I am 19 years old. I work in ZKPU,, Radikovitsa” Pernik. On the farm we grow wheat, barley, sunflower, corn and sorghum.
I graduated from TPG “Nikola Yonkov Vaptsarov” in the city. Radomir.
How did you get into farming?
I began to develop in the field of agriculture mainly on the example of my father and grandfather. I would say that I continue the family tradition and continuity between generations.
What is the main challenge for you at work and what do you like the most about your daily tasks?
Undoubtedly, working with people is a great advantage and the development of a family business. A major challenge for me personally in farm administration is writing contracts.

What is the solution you implement to facilitate the processes and work with documentation on the farm?
As a young person, I strive to implement innovative solutions, with which I can save both time in processing documentation and effort. We have been working with for 5 years agricultural software Technofarm.
Thanks to it, the process of concluding contracts is facilitated and optimized, and also greater transparency towards the lessors is achieved. The benefits of using TechnoFarmare also visible in the preparation of the lists for the distribution of rent.
Why did you specifically target the TechnoFarm farming software?
My first feeling was that it was very reliable and that turned out to be true. Once we implemented it and started working with it, we saw that it definitely saves a lot of time and thanks to it there is far less filling in documents by hand.
Another advantage that guided us to TechnoFarm is the team itself. Namely, that he is positive and always ready to assist in possible problems or questions on our part.

What advice would you give to other young people in agriculture?
My advice will be brief, namely... be patient and do not give up in the face of difficulties. Follow your goals and look for innovative solutions to problems.
