What sizes and varieties of strip-till cultivators exist?

Kverneland cultivators are initially available with rigid frames in working widths of 3m, 4.5m and 6m with the possibility of row spacing from 45 to 80 cm, and in some cases larger on special requests from farmers. The configurations are standard from 4 to 12 rows, but configurations with an odd number of sections are also possible depending on the desired row spacing between the work rows.

In 2016, Kverneland also developed the range of folding strip-till cultivators, which make transport between fields faster and safer. The 4500F and 6000F models have 4.5 and 6 meters of working width, respectively, with similar to the standard models possibilities for the number of working bodies and row spacing. Common combinations are 6 or 8 rows in corn and 9 or 12 rows in crops such as sugar beets.

Folding models achieve a transport width of 3 meters without additional work on the rows before the transport itself. In order to ensure safe transport even at high speeds, the folding wings have hydraulic locking and the parallelograms of the row are manually locked.
