Trimble RTX satellite signal correction now with 2 cm accuracy

The new Trimble RTX satellite signal correction technology now provides unprecedented accuracy of 2 cm.
At the end of 2018, US company Trimble — a leader in the GPS industry — announced that its satellite correction technology could now provide 2 cm accuracy with an improved convergence time of 15 minutes to less than 2 minutes. Farmers can now start work with full accuracy in about 2 minutes in areas of the RTX Fast network. This speed and accuracy are already available in Bulgaria using the Trimble CenterPoint® RTX satellite signal correction service, which provides similar RTK accuracy, but outside the traditional VRS networks, which were considered the gold standard in agriculture. In addition, adjustments are also available via internet or mobile connection, making Trimble RTX one of the most flexible precision farming services available today. In addition, the Trimble RTX service also supports Trimble xFill® technology, which enables RTK and VRS correction users to continue working in the event of signal loss. xFill fills the RTK signal when the radio/internet connection is temporarily disconnected and ensures a continuous workflow.
