On the farm, efforts are being made to reduce tillage by applying cover crops and, if possible, sowing directly into them. This seemingly not easy task is not a challenge for the planter, since it is designed precisely for no-till as before each section are installed sweepers and wheels to remove plant residues with automatic pressure control, which open the row no matter if it is worked in well-prepared soil, poorly prepared soil or sown directly. With the 16 row planter, sowing runs smoothly, although the terrain is predominantly hilly with slopes in places up to 60-70 percent. With the high speed and good copying of the terrain - individually from each section you can sow up to more than 130 decares per hour, and if you need to change the crop, the replacement of the discs is done extremely quickly and in most cases directly in the field.

“Last year we had the opportunity to test a similar planter on our farm and what made a very strong impression, especially with sunflower, which is more difficult to sow, was the extremely even germination and development of the sunflower. Until now we have not seen such an equalization in our country and this actually gave it a very fast start without competition and the culture was able to use its potential to the fullest. In the case of corn we were also very satisfied - the planter is extremely accurate and sows very precisely - without overlaps, without unnecessary costs and provides a favorable environment for the development of the seeds thanks to the double acting cylinder DeltaForce, which made the most impression on us. Through upward and downward pressure, uniform sowing is maintained.” - says Milen Koev.
