Mechanics share: Iskren Stankov — Everyone should try the Kverneland disc harrow!

Today the team of NIK is in Dulovo. Here we meet Iskren Stankov, who works in the farm of ZDP Pulev — Kaloyan Pulev. Sekren shares his impressions of his work with the disc harrow Kverneland Qualitisc6000T.

”Kverneland Qualidisc Disc DamThe 6000T performs quite well in the field. I've been working with the dam for about a year. In this period, since I have been driving it, I have not seen any problem. It performs extremely well in this year and in this drought”, shares the experienced mechanic.

And how else - all the disc harrows of the Scandinavian manufacturer pass durability tests at the Kverneland plant in Norway, where they prove their durability, strength and efficiency precisely in such harsh conditions.

“When you work on autopilot there is no overlap, no residue. I work at a working speed of 13-14 km/h. From my experience I can say that the faster the disc harrow moves, the nicer the processing becomes! Each disc is hung on pads that allow the copying of the terrain”, explains Iskren Stankov.

Here we must recall that the disks that Kverneland inventories have at their disposal undergo special heat treatment. It is because of this that their hardness at the edges reaches 58HRC. And this, in turn, guarantees a long service life and low costs!

Iskren Stankov: “The roller is also very important for a dam.”

And it continues: “The roller of the Qualidisc 6000T is very heavy. For example, if there are lumps on the pitch, it breaks them very well”.

And how else! The Actipack heavy rear roller has a Ø 560mm and a weight of 200 kg/m. In addition to breaking up clumps, it subtly recompacts the soil.
