Norac UC4+ — automatic wing level control

Norac UC4+is a system that automatically controls the height of the wings of the sprayer when working on uneven terrain or at uneven crop heights. The height of the wings can be defined, both as the distance from the level of the plants and as the distance from the soil below them depending on the desired effect. The system has two modes of operation - manual and automatic, as the data on the movement of the wings in both modes are recorded in the device and can be viewed subsequently. In this way, tests of the efficiency of the system can be made and it can be verified how the wings behave when the system is not turned on in automatic mode and the height is controlled manually. The principle of operation of the system is with ultrasonic sensors mounted on the bars that allow automatic maintenance of the preset height above the crops or soil, which is the same for the entire length of the wings. This constant height ensures optimal use of materials and uniform dispersal of chemicals on crops. Depending on the presence of obstacles on the terrain, only one or both wings of the sprayer can be moved or lowered, and of course the sprayer itself must allow it.The Norac UC4+ system works equally well regardless of whether the sprayer moves at low and high speed and without being affected by the spray rate. It can be installed on any one brand of sprayer, as well as be moved from one machine to another.
