NIK took part in BATA AGRO 2014

At the end of August, NIK again took part in the exhibition for agricultural machinery BATA AGRO in Stara Zagora. This year, the Trimble GPS equipment was presented with a focus on the wireless communication of the devices with the office with ConnectedFarm technology. At the stand, customers could test the Trimble navigation displays and control systems, as well as the Trimble FieldIQ material control system when sowing and spraying.
The self-propelled sprayer Berthoud Raptor FC 4240 FrontCab, which was shown at the exhibition, has a tank with a capacity of 4200 liters and AXIALE rods with a length of 36m. The EC-Tronic computer system with which the machine is equipped allows all spraying functions to be controlled from the cab.
Emphasis was placed on ConnectedFarm technology, which provides wireless data transmission from Trimble navigation displays to the online portal ConnectedFarm Dashboard, in which real-time monitoring of machine operation and monitoring of yield or sowing rate data is monitored. In the ConnectedFarm Dashboard web portal, you can also monitor machine tracks, altitude data and more to give a clear idea of what is happening in the field.
Emphasis was also placed on the laboratory of NIK Agro Service, which has the largest daily capacity for analysis of soil samples in Bulgaria and the Balkan Peninsula.
Upcoming student internships of students from agricultural universities in the laboratory were also announced at the exhibition.
