AGRA NIC 2023: The pulse of progress in agriculture

From 21 to 25 February, the 31st edition of the international agricultural exhibition AGRA was held in Plovdiv.
For the second year in a row, the exhibition is organized in cooperation with the Association of Producers and Importers of Agrotechnics and Technologies in Bulgaria — AGROTECH.
Traditionally, the NIK stand was the place where all visitors had the opportunity to see the latest solutions in agriculture such as XAG agricultural drones, Trimble navigation displays, Kverneland inventories, software solutions and agronomic services and feel the pulse of progress in agriculture.

News at the stand of NIK
The new additions to Trimble's GFX series — GFX-1060 and GFX-1260 navigation displays — made their premiere to a Bulgarian audience. Featuring a larger display and speed of operation, the new displays quickly became a topic of conversation in the technology part of the NIK stand.
No less interest was enjoyed by the new and larger 40-liter XAG P100 drone. Visitors had the opportunity not only to see the agricultural drone up close, but also to make sure of its spraying efficiency through individual demonstrations that took place throughout the entire period of the exhibition.

For the first year, the Kverneland iXtravk T3 attachment sprayer was also presented during AGRA. The high-tech equipment, field efficiency and distinctive design of this model made it the highlight of the stand.
In the machinery area, attention was also drawn to the Kverneland tillage inventory — cultivators, disc harrows and plows, known in our country as excellent in tillage. The high-tech seeders segment featured the Kverneland U-drill autumn planter with seed count sensors per row and the Kverneland SX spring planter, which demonstrated the new PUDAMA spot seed technology for the first time in Eastern Europe.

Another premiere at the stand of the NIK made the CarbonBee selective spraying system. With a special simulator it was possible to observe the spraying efficiency of the system in both Green on Green /crop spraying of weeds/and Green on Brown/spraying weeds in stubble/.
The pulse of progress in agriculture is also driven by the energy required to carry out all processes on the farm. That is why Valley's agro-photovoltaics took a special place at the stand of NIK, through which farmers can ensure energy independence of irrigation systems in the field or for their farm.

The Valley brand is also present with its traditional solution — irrigation pivots, and this year the Valley Scheduling precision irrigation management service aroused serious interest.
In the software solutions area, the FarmTrack data and machine tracking system was presented, as well as the premiere unified agricultural platform from NIK. The software solution makes it possible to track all farm data such as soil maps resulting from sampling and analysis, movement and processing of machines, data from weather stations and pivots. In addition to this information, the platform also carries out administrative operations related to the processes in a farm.
With a sense of Italy

In addition to the fact that the stand of NIK was again filled with interesting technologies and machines, it also carried the spirit of Italy. Guests at the stand tasted some of the most emblematic culinary delights from the south side — fragrant cappuccino, delicious cannoli and sparkling prosecco.

New Larger AGRA
AGRA 2023 was distinguished by high attendance and varied program. In addition to the large number of exhibitors, this year during the exhibition was also held Street food fest, which offered a variety of options for delicious food, accompanied by an interesting show program.
