NIK is “Agroinnovator” for 2017

NIK received the award “Agroinnovator”during the forum “Successful 2017” of the newspaper “Bulgarian Farmer”, which was held on December 6, 2017. The prize was presented to the manager of NIK — Ivo Kumanov by Lyubomir Kolarov — deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper, for the long-term contribution of the company to the modernization of Bulgarian agriculture. Among the innovations that NIK implemented on the Bulgarian market this year are the latest Trimble GFX-750 navigation display, the latest model attachment sprayer from Berthoud — Vantage,which was declared for “Machine of the Year” for 2017year and newest self-propelled sprayer — Berthoud BROWN. The first american mechanically driven sprayers — Apacheworked on the Bulgarian fields, thanks to NIK, in the spring of 2017, and a little later in the year, the largest modern project for irrigated agriculture in the Balkans was completed, including 12 Valley pivots, which irrigate over 3,000 acres in the region of North-West Bulgaria.
Along with the new products we offer to Bulgarian farmers, we continue to develop our own software products, as well as our modern soil laboratory.— said the manager of NIK — Ivo Kumanov, during his thank-you speech. The NIK team is also working hard on the implementation oftechnologies for applying fertilizers and preparations with a variable rate, because they have a positive impact not only on the efficiency of Bulgarian farms, but also contribute to the protection of the environment. The latest innovation from the company is NIK Academy training center, which officially opened on December 05and whose goal is to help Bulgarian farmers to use 100% of the potential of their equipment and personnel. The lack of well-trained staff is one of the main challenges facing farmers today and NIK Academy is the solution that NIK offers — another innovative step towards the development and modernization of Bulgarian agriculture!
