NIC and XAG to participate in FAO conference

Recently, the world has faced the challenge of providing enough food for a growing population, especially in developing countries. The World Organization for the Eradication of Hunger (FAO) plays a key role in this process, bringing together the efforts of industrial and innovative companies.
Established in 1945, the World Hunger Organization (FAO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) dedicated to solving the world's problems of hunger and malnutrition.
In September, at FAO headquarters in Rome, a global conference on Sustainable Mechanization in Agriculture is being organized. FAO Global Conference on Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization, which aims to discuss sustainability trends in the sector, for which the conference will be attended by representatives of leading scientific institutions from all over the world, as well as representatives of leading technology companies.

The Bulgarian technology company NIK, together with the leading Chinese manufacturer of agricultural drones XAG will take part in the exhibition hall at the conference, where the flagship among spraying drones, the XAG P100 model, suitable for small and large farms, as well as the XAG R150 autonomous agricultural robot with spraying system will be shown.
The Executive Director of XAGwill also take part in the conference part of the congress, focusing on innovations in the field of agricultural drones and autonomous farming systems and their implementation in order to achieve greater sustainability and in line with FAO objectives. XAG prides itself on the fact that the technologies it produces are capable of increasing farmers' productivity, reducing the use of pesticides and supporting sustainable rural development.
The conference will take place from 27 to 29 September at FAO headquarters in Rome.
