NIK and BESTA Technology Announce Strategic Partnership for Deploying Movable Solar Systems in Southern Europe

Sofia, Bulgaria – NIK, a leading provider of autonomous solutions and technologies for precision agriculture and robotics, has signed a long-term strategic partnership agreement with BESTA Technology – an industrial group listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange.

Under the agreement, NIK becomes BESTA's exclusive partner for the markets in Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and South Africa, with plans to deliver up to 500 movable solar systems over the next two years.

The systems are manufactured according to NIK's specified requirements, tailored to the needs of local markets. This partnership combines BESTA's proven and established industrial product with NIK's added value and practical experience.

Technological Synergy for Energy Independence

The partnership combines BESTA's experience in manufacturing large-scale energy systems with NIK's expertise in adapting technologies to the specific needs of European farmers. The solutions offered are designed for fully autonomous (off-grid) power supply to remote sites, making them particularly suitable for agricultural operations and modern irrigation systems.

Legal Certainty and Eligibility under G.1.1.

One of the key aspects of the new product is its status as a movable object. According to Art. 56, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Spatial Planning Act (ZUT), the installation of the system is not considered construction and is carried out based on a scheme approved by the chief architect. This allows its installation directly on agricultural land for agricultural activities (according to Art. 12, paragraph 2 of the ZUT), without the need to change the land's designation.

For agricultural producers in Bulgaria, this is a critical advantage, as movable solar systems are an eligible investment under sub-measure G1.1, bringing additional points for energy efficiency.
