NIK Academy brings together farmers and experts during a seminar on sustainable agriculture

In June, NIK Academy held a seminar with the main topic - Conservation agriculture and the solutions of the French producer Agrisem.One of the most current topics attracted a number of participants, mainly from the North-Eastern part of Bulgaria.

During the event, some of the main pillars related to the conduct and implementation of minimal or no treatments were presented and discussed. Among the topics were preservationof the soil structurethrough gentle treatments, the effective moisture managementas a key to stable yields and Long-term sustainability of farmsachieved with minimal interventions in the soil.

Highlights during the seminar were the ways, advantages and challenges of conducting strip-tilland no-till processing. Guests also had the opportunity to see live the inventories of Agrisem, a leader in conservation farming solutions, such as the Strip-till cultivator Stripcat, the BOSS direct seeder, Cultiplow tunnel tiller and Disc-o-Mulch disc harrow.
