NIC Hosts XAG European Conference

Held on 28 October 2022 in Sofia The First European Conferenceof the leading manufacturer of autonomous machinery, XAG. NICKhosted the event, and among the official guests were all European dealers from 13 countries.

The conference aimed to exchange innovative approaches and experiences of companies offering XAG solutions, as well as innovations related to improvement and development.

Another major theme of the event was the application of agricultural drones as a path to more sustainable agriculture.

The conference opened with a presentation of the innovative approach of the company in the development of its products and the planned novelties in relation to the improvement and development of agricultural autonomous drones and robots under the XAG brand.

“Through the increasing spread of agricultural drones in China over the past five years, we have been able to reduce 960,000 tons of carbon emissions, save farmers 360,000,000 liters of fuel and conserve 30,000,000 liters of water.”, highlights Charles Cao, International Market Development Manager at XAG

Decarbonization through the use of drones was also a major focus in the presentations of representatives from Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

The market for autonomous farm solutions in Ukraine has grown extremely rapidly over the past two years, currently reaching more than 1 million hectares of land cultivated by agricultural drones. Thanks to this, we were able to reduce the country's carbon emissions by about 14,000 tons,” Drone UA said.

Past, present and future development of precision agriculture technologies, Ivo Kumanov shared through the view of 20 years of experience of NICK.
