New technologies in Kverneland mounted and self-propelled sprayers — CTS, iXflow‑Pulse and DAT Ecopatch

For sustainable, precision and ecological farming
Kverneland presents innovations in its range of sprayers for sustainable agriculture. In response to increasingly stringent environmental regulations and the need for sustainable solutions, Kverneland is introducing three new technologies: closed preparation transfer system (CTS), iXflow‑pulse with pulse modulation (PWM)and the advanced system DAT Ecopatchfor selective spraying.
Closed Preparation Transfer System (CTS)
CTSis an innovation for safe and clean filling of the sprayers. It allows non-contact transfer of plant protection products from the container to the tank, which almost completely eliminates risks to the operator and reduces spills. The system is designed to minimize air, soil, and water pollution during charging — an important factor for sustainable and ecological agriculture.
iXflow‑pulse with pulse modulation (PWM)
iXflow‑Pulseuses pulse modulation(PWM) to maintain stable pressure and optimal drop size at different operating speeds. Through the iXflow‑Pulse+iXCurve combination, the system adjusts the flow rate along the length of the rod, ensuring the same application rate in all segments. This guarantees precision sprayingand promotes maximum efficiency in crop processing.

The intelligent AI system DAT Ecopatch
DAT Ecopatchis an AI technology for selective spraying. The cameras recognize weeds and activate the nozzles only where necessary, working in “green on brown” and “green on green” modes. The system categorizes weeds in crops such as wheat, cereals and oilseeds, which allows optimal application of preparations and a significant reduction in chemical costs.

Why are these technologies important?
- Safety of the operator— CTS eliminates contact with the preparations and reduces the risk of contamination.
- Precision spraying— iXflow‑Pulse ensures uniform coverage and stable pressure.
- Cost reduction— DAT Ecopatch sprays only where there are weeds, which optimizes the use of preparations.
- Sustainable agriculture— the three technologies work in synergy to reduce the environmental footprint and increase the efficiency of Kverneland sprayers.
The implementation of CTS, iXflow‑Pulseand DAT EcopatchDemonstrates the commitment of Kvernelandto Sustainable innovation in agriculture. These solutions allow Bulgarian farmers to meet regulatory requirements, increase their productivity and protect nature.
