New Kverneland plough body number 40

Efficient, with low tractor traction power requirements, suitable for tractors with wide tires
Kverneland plough bodies are known all over the world for their high plowing efficiency, strength and durability. They are designed to suit the specific soil conditions and the size of the tractor tires. As a result of changing processing factors, farmers have expressed their need for plough bodies suitable for tractors with wide tires, with low tractor traction power requirements and maximum wear resistance. The ruling is body No. 40 of Kverneland.
Plough body also designed for tractors with wide tyres

Following the success of Kverneland's No. 28 body, designed for wider 710 mm tractor tyres, Kverneland has further developed the new generation of plough bodies.
Closely related to modern agriculture, these new bodies/No. 34, 38, and now 40/ are identical in shape to that of body No. 28, namely the same length and slightly higher.
- Body No. 34 is plastic, suitable for soils with a high humus content and in more humid operating conditions.
- Body No 38/“universal “/is designed for plowing at a depth of 12 cm to 38 cm.
- Body No. 40 is a band body from the new generation of Kverneland fixtures, designed for a wide and clean furrow.
Low thrust
Compared to the well-known plow body No. 30, the new No.40 is less aggressive.

Kverneland's No. 40 has a narrow saddle, similar to hulls 28, 34 and 38. It is a wount-shaped and elongated working body with a 40-degree angle of the base.
Therefore, the resistance during operation is much less than that of body No. 30, as has already been confirmed by farmers during field tests conducted in several countries.
Low power requirements of the tractor lead to low fuel consumption.
Working body No. 40 of Kverneland follows the design of No. 28. The required weight force and the associated fuel consumption have already been scientifically measured as the lowest on the market.
Quality plowing

Body No. 40 is an alternative to body No. 30. Both are designed to achieve the best results in abrasive, wet, heavy, sticky and stony conditions, achieving a good crushing effect.
Low wear
Kverneland's steel processing technology has also been applied to body No. 40 for long-term operation under variable and harsh conditions.
