New generation of Kverneland plows with bolt protection

More convenience, security and efficiency for farmers

After in 2019 Kverneland impressed farmers with the new generation of plows with Auto-reset protection, today the company takes the next step forward. The new series of plows with bolt protection builds on the well-known advantages of the brand and adds a number of innovations that make work easier, safer and more efficient.

The new pillars are designed to withstand a load of up to 5000 kg without the risk of deformation. Upon impact, the bolt cuts cleanly and can be replaced instantly — so the quality of the plowing remains constant. Spare bolts are conveniently located on the frame and always at hand.

“4P” floats — four positions for all conditions

Slugs are key to a good result, but often their tuning is underestimated. With the new generation “4P” system, adjustment is easy and fast — for different soils, plant residues and working speeds.

• change the angle to avoid stones or trim more lightly;
• adaptation to speed by shifting forward or backward;
• possibility of more work outside the furrow under specific conditions.

To this are added smooth or serrated colters with dimensions of 18” /45 cm/, 20” /50 cm/and 22” /55 cm/, as well as pre-floats standard for corn residues or other and additional pre-float boards.

Hydraulic wheels for more convenience

The new series offers both rear and side-mounted wheels — in mechanical or hydraulic adjustment options. The working depth is easy to adjust, and when the plow is turned, the settings are saved — something unique to Kverneland.

Safe transport with TTS

Kverneland is the inventor of the Trailer Transport Solution (TTS). The system carries out the transport of the plow at the point of the shed for good maneuverability — without lateral deviations, with safe transport in tight spaces and roundabouts. TTS is available for models 3300 B Variomat, 3400 B Variomat and 3500 B Variomat i-Plow®.

i-Plough® — the smart version

The model Kverneland 3500 B i-Plough®offers ISOBUS functionalities: all basic settings are made directly from the cabin. With one click, the operator switches from plowing in the furrow to plowing outside the furrow.

The system Furrow Control®provides straight furrows along the A-B line, and Kverneland Syncallows seamless transfer of data for management and monitoring.

Variomat® — reliability and efficiency

Variomat® is the most reliable system on the market. It guarantees an optimal combination of soil conditions, the plow and the tractor.

• When changing the working width, you do not need to adjust the drawline again.
• The embedded system Auto-linemaintains straight operation, reduces fuel consumption and wear of parts.

The first groove is set independently — especially useful when working on hilly terrain.

The plow requires only a few stepping points. The Variomat® system is reliable and completely maintenance-free thanks to heat-treated cones and long-life bushings.
