Qualidisc disc harrows provide the possibility of intensive mixing of soil and plant residues, which guarantees a better quality of subsequent treatments! This significantly minimizes the valuable time of farmers and guarantees quality and timely processing at the right time!

Kverneland Qualidisc disc harrows are the perfect solution for farmers who value their time. The machine has a conical shape of the discs and adjustment of the congruence of the beams. This combination allows precise adjustment of the front row relative to the rear row of discs to compensate for the reduced diameter due to wear.

Qualidisc disc harrows are available in two versions — Qualidisc Proand Qualitisk Farmerwith which it can be carried out:

• Opening the soil after a cold snap or winter rains, improving air flow for faster warming;
• Stubborn cultivation after harvest;
• Second or third entry for the destruction of weeds and self-seeding, which would reduce the required amount of herbicides when spraying;
• Cutting corn stalks to prevent corn stalk borer wilt.
• Preparing the soil with a fine soil bed to improve germination even in small seeds such as canola and alfalfa.

High speed, high performance, high quality

Power and efficient field performance are part of the distinguishing features of disc harrowsQualidisc. Kverneland machines offer a working speed of 18-20 km/h, maintaining high processing quality throughout the working width — with a constant working depth to achieve even tillage everywhere. The machine comes with the well-known Kverneland Actipack roller, with an outer diameter of 560 mm and with built-in independent alignment knives. With its 220 kg per meter, it allows a good compaction of the soil and provokes the germination of weeds.

The Kverneland Actipack demonstrates its qualities best in medium-heavy to heavy soils, and also in wet, stony and sticky soils, thanks to the independent alignment knives. The cutting discs break up the larger lumps and the adjustable knives cut the remaining lumps. Thanks to this, the result is a perfectly aligned field, ready for sowing.

The unique shape and cuts of the discs

The unique conical shape of the discs allows keeping the angle of operation (attack on the ground) always the same.

This makes it possible to cut and mix a large amount of plant residues in the soil with constant quality without the need for frequent replacement of discs.

The hardness of the discs from 55 to 58 HRC (Hardness Rockwell C)

Heat-treated wear-resistant discs with a thickness of 6 mm and a diameter of Ø600mm with hardness from 55 HRC to 58HRC. This makes them 20% more durable than all other discs on the market.

Each disc is individually fastened and follows exactly the contours of the soil.

Adjusting the congruence of the rafters

Adjusting the congruence between the beams, and hence the discs, allows for compensation of wear and longer perfect processing time.

Adjusting the rafters is easy and quick, thanks to a change scale, depending on the degree of wear of the discs. This avoids poor-quality processing that occurs when the discs are worn down to 500 mm, which is shown in the illustration.
