Kverneland Group and Bayer sign strategic partnership to increase efficiency in agriculture

NIK, Kverneland's exclusive representative for Bulgaria, shares the news of the recent cooperation agreement signed between Kverneland Group and Bayer. This partnership aims to integrate Bayer's digital agronomy platform FieldView with Kverneland Group machinery and inventory, opening up new opportunities for the future of efficient farming.

September 2024 | New Venep, Netherlands

The integration of FieldView with Kverneland agricultural machinery makes it easy to use agronomic data in combination with already established technologies. This expands the digital capabilities of the Kverneland Group and increases the value of the products and services offered.

The “FieldView Ready” hardware kit will be available for Kverneland planters, mowers and sprinklers. Through FieldView integration, Kverneland's FarmCentre will function as a hub for machine and inventory information and provide real-time updates on all connected machines (such as active/inactive status, map location, planned/completed tasks, and notifications).

“Access to machine parameters and their productivity data, combined with precision farming and optimal use of agronomic data, provides significant advantages for farmers striving for sustainability and increased productivity of their crops.”, Max Butten, Product Director Kverneland Group Mechatronics, clarifying the importance of this partnership.

We recall that NIK and Bayer signed a partnership agreement in 2023 during the Agritechnika exhibition in Hanover, Germany. Stimulating digitalization on farms, the two companies launched a new product under the name SprayKit, which transmits the collected data to the FieldView software platform.
