Innovations in irrigation agriculture and precision technologies at BATA AGRO 2017

In this year's edition of the agricultural exhibition BATA AGRO, NIK participated with its largest stand to date and presented both the latest additions to its portfolio and the already established technologies for precision agriculture. During the exhibition, NIK specialists also told more about the projects on which the company has been working since the beginning of the year, among which is the largest modern project for irrigated agriculture in Bulgaria.

• The new brand of irrigation equipment Casellawas presented during the exhibition. These tube-roller irrigation systems are suitable for both large and small farms, for fields of non-standard shape and for irrigation of various types of crops. They can be enjoyed individually or as an addition to Valley irrigation systems.
• Soil and crop care through a combination of AgroBalance and GeoScanIt was one of the most popular topics of the exhibition. Combining the comprehensive service of soil sampling, analysis and recommendations with the satellite crop monitoring program gives farmers a comprehensive tool to control crop development and achieve better field results.
• Digital Farmingwas also widely discussed, with the possibility of paying rent with the TechnoFarm software and the new automatic reports to the FarmTrack machine and fuel monitoring service of great interest to the visitors of the stand.

Traditionally, the stand was attended byTrimble navigation displays and control systems and visitors could learn how precision farming technologies can help them prepare for the upcoming harvest.
