History, technology and inspiration: the journey of NIK and Bulgarian farmers in Norway

At the beginning of June, the NIK team, together with a group of Bulgarian farmers, visited Norway — the homeland of Kverneland.

The first day of our trip started in the place where the history of the brand itself begins — the small forge of Ole Gabriel QuernelandIt has now been converted into a museum. There, the participants were touched by the spirit of the enterprising young blacksmith, whose vision for quality agricultural tools laid the foundations of one of the most recognizable brands in agricultural machinery. The first handmade products were an inspiration that today translates into industrial perfection.

The second daywas dedicated to a visit to the factory of Kverneland, where the participants followed the entire production process — from raw steel to finished plow. We have seen the metal go through multiple processing stages, including laser cutting, bending, and heat treatment.

The process is highly automated and robotic, which guarantees exceptional quality, repeatability and efficiency in every step of production. It was extremely valuable for our customers to see firsthand how the plows they use every day in the field are created.

At the end of the day, we were immersed in The Natural Beauty of Norwaywith a boat ride through the fjords — an unforgettable experience that complemented the professional program with inspiration and emotion.
