GeoScan Entered the Forbes “30 Under 30" Rankings

On September 28, the largest meeting of entrepreneurs under the age of 30 in Bulgaria took place in the congress center of Inter Expo Center in Sofia — the Forbes “30 under 30” forum. The event featured 30 young Bulgarians under the age of 30, contributing to the development of various spheres of public and cultural life, business and social entrepreneurship in Bulgaria. Among the selected ones is Kaloyan Kumanov — one of the people behind the GeoScan satellite crop monitoring program, who was awarded for his contribution to the development of precision agriculture in Bulgaria through the implementation of satellite crop imaging.
Forbes' 30 under 30 project is held annually in 15 countries, including Bulgaria, and aims to distinguish enterprising young people in the fields of business, culture, social entrepreneurship and technology.The GeoScan product was created in 2014 and is the first program of its kind in Eastern Europe, enabling near-real time crop monitoring via satellite imagery and a specialized vegetation index. Created by the company Techno Farm Ltd., today it is offered to farmers through the sales team of NIK. The GeoScan program benefits every modern farm by enabling it to take advantage of evolving technologies to achieve higher results.
