European test drive tour with the self-propelled sprayer Kverneland iXdrive S6

In the last week of July, the latest model of self-propelled sprayer Kverneland iXdrive S6 arrived in our country, and the main goal was to provide the opportunity for key customers of NIK to test the machine in real field conditions and make sure of its capabilities by operating to the limit! There was no lack of interest in the event in the four locations where the demonstrations took place. Farmers gathered eager to see and show the technological achievement in the field in sprayers — the iXdrive S6 model. Demonstrations were conducted by leading Kverneland engineers specializing in the development and production of sprayers, who personally presented the machine at each of the locations.

“We are proud that Bulgaria and NIK are part of the European test drive tour of KVERNELAND, during which our key customers have the opportunity to see live in real action all the benefits of automation that the manufacturer offers. With more than 140 years of experience in the production of agricultural equipment and many years of experience in the production of sprayers specifically, at KVERNELAND they have accumulated a great deal of knowledge on how to make reliable machines with a lot of technology and automation. For example, something that is very important for any sprayer is that it is well prepared for the next preparation quickly and easily. The KVERNELAND iXdrive S6 has an automated cleaning system that, in a series of cycles, prepares the machine for the next filling without the involvement of the mechanizer.”Ivo Kumanov shared in front of the camera of the Farmer's Voice.

The demonstrations took place under the reinforcement of the farmers, who also shared extremely good feedback from the behavior of the machine in different terrains and high speed of work.

“I am pleased to present in Bulgaria, together with our partner — NIK, the self-propelled sprayer KVERNELAND iXdrive S6. This is the flagship in our portfolio. The purpose of this demo tour is not just to present our machine to the farmers, but to give them the opportunity to test it for themselves in real conditions in the field. Only after seeing, trying and feeling something for yourself can you fully believe in its advantages. We want to show them its advantages not only in theory, but also in practice. It is a great honor for us to present this machine to the Bulgarian farmers. We are convinced that it perfectly meets their needs and requirements. Especially in larger farms, such as the Bulgarian ones, investments in this sprayer pay off extremely quickly. The machine features a front-facing cab on a high quality chassis with a spray mechanism proven over the years. The large tank saves a lot of time when working in the field. The machine also has a large ground clearance — from 1.50 m to 1.70 m.”Rolf Almendinger of Kverneland Group explained.

Rolf Almendinger has been part of the Kverneland Group for over 30 years and has extensive experience in the development and testing of agricultural machinery and precision spraying technologies. As part of one of the most demanding agricultural markets, the one for Eastern Europe, the opinion and feedback of farmers from the machine is extremely important for it and for the future development of the model. What happened during the demonstrations? The main highlight was the opportunity for each farmer and mechanic to personally test the capabilities of the sprayer to the limit, and this was accompanied by personal attention for each guest. The special events were not without surprises for the guests, and some of them were in the form of the inscriptions on the field. In the village. Kaloyanovo sprayer printed SMBE 99 - the name of the farm where the test drive event was held, and in Burgas for the first time in Europe the sprayer also painted the Kverneland brand logo.

At two of our demonstrations this week, we showed how with sectional control technologies using paint instead of a solution, we can write an inscription on the field. Completes Ivo Kumanov
During the demonstrations, we saw how the sprayer worked at an operating speed of 25 km/h and spraying at a rate of 20 liters per acre. It was important for our customers to test how the machine behaves at high performance. Added Ivo Kumanov, manager of NIK.
