Digitalization in agriculture is not a concept of the future. On the contrary — it is happening now and is increasingly polar among farmers in Bulgaria. Innovative technologies are increasingly gaining ground because they increase work efficiency, optimize costs and enable better control.

With Trimble AutoSync, navigation lines, block boundaries, location, VRA maps, and other important flight, machine, inventory, material, and operator information are fully automatically synchronized.

Through AutoSync, data added to one display is automatically reproduced on all other connected displays. Data created and added through the office computer is also automatically synchronized on the connected displays. So, for example, when one operator sets an AB line, the other operators and employees in the office can get it. When entering the parcel, the other operators simply follow the initially set navigation line.

In this way eliminates manual data transfer through flash memory, as well as the errors that can be made with this method of information transfer. During or at the end of the working day, each operator sends data on the performed processing operations completely automatically to the office employees. Thus, it is easy to track the implementation of a specific task and take timely action if necessary.

Platforms for tracking and analyzing data from agricultural machinery

Another part of the digitalization of farms is the tracking and analysis of data from agricultural machinery. Such a solution is the platform developed by NIK with which it is carried outdigital monitoring and control of the agricultural vehicle fleet

Through driver identification, information is obtained about the activity performed by a driver, the blocks visited and the distance traveled. The communication between the inventory and the machine is solved by wireless connection via Bluetooth, through which we can monitor the operation of the inventory and the processed acres.

Another main functionality of the system is the possibility of video surveillance of agricultural and transport machinery, through mobile DVRs and cameras with durability certificate. The data is obtained in real time and for a period.

In this way, all the information from the field, machinery and inventory is generated and analyzed in one place. And this serves to take timely action when cases occur and keep a kind of digital diary of the farm.
