Digital control and workflow planning

Control and planning of the work process in a farm, whether it is small or large, are fundamental for high productivity and profitability. Both processes are, on the one hand, extremely important, but they are also a challenge for many farmers.

Planning field work and effective control especially during an active campaign may not be so successful. Part of the reason for this is that different operators operate different machines with different inventories. This can lead to confusion in the organization of the farm and difficult traceability of the processes in it.

In such cases, it is advisable to use the digital control system as FarmTrack. Through the tracking and analysis system, reliable information about this is obtained from agricultural machinery who operator, with which machine, with which inventory it works and of course how /generation of data on speed, fuel consumption, revolutions, route/

Recognizing the inventory that is currently being worked

With effective control, it is good to be clearly given a machine with what inventory it is currently working with. To obtain the necessary information, a small inventory device is mounted, which feeds a signal.

In order to fully automate the process, NIK specialists implement solutions with BLE (bluetooth) transmitters that communicate with the machine themselves. Thus, the need for cables and cards that were the predecessors of this model in obtaining information is eliminated.

Unlike the old technology, where mechanizers manually informed the machine about the inventory, now this is done digitally and completely automatically. In addition to automatic communication, with different inventory such as plow or harrow, it can easily distinguish the working mode from the transport mode. This is done through the built-in accelerometer.

Thus, not only better control of the workflow is exercised, but also more efficient planning and calculation of the cost of production from each plot.

Driver recognition

Information about the operator who is currently working and with which machine can be obtained in two ways. Via Bluetooth — using a specially tuned signal from the driver's mobile phone or BLE transmitter. Another commonly used way is through a card or chip, which is used by the driver to identify himself. The same chip or card can be used for identification when charging a mobile or stationary column.

All generated information in inventory and driver recognition is available on the FarmTrack platform or through the system's mobile app.

In addition to the fact that the two control options give information in real time, through FarmTrack the data is recorded as history and this can serve as a digital log of the treatments.
