Delineate parcel boundaries in the ISAC system with Trimble GPS navigations

DF “Agriculture” — Paying Agency enables its beneficiaries wishing to apply for the schemes and measures under direct payments to provide GPS data on the agricultural land they use, for their easy and correct introduction into the ISAC.The last tests of the NIC have been successfully completed, in which the possibility of import was confirmed of GPS data in the ISAC system. In this way, farmers will be able to use the generated plots from their Trimble equipment and provide them to the Municipal Agricultural Services. The transfer of the plots is carried out with a USB memory, which is directly loaded into a computer in the municipal service. The file that is used for the delineation of a plot is called Boundary and is of the polygon type. Through this process, time is saved in manual computer delineation and errors and inaccuracies in the declared areas are avoided. Thus, each farmer will be able to go around the real blocks that are being processed. And this is especially important in the case of arrays that are shared by several agricultural producers. We, from NIK, have made the necessary efforts in this direction in developing and testing this functionality in order to lure our customers into a direct payments campaign 2010 and we can guarantee the file format and the accuracy of the GPS data with the fact that in addition to the agricultural producer farm equipment. Trimble are involved in the military and geodetic industries, which gives them access to professional GIS solutions and file types.Download the Instructions for recording the boundaries of plots with Trimble GPS navigations EZ-Guide 250 and EZ-Guide 500, which describe the procedure for mapping plots so that the created files are read in the municipal agricultural services and loaded into the GIS module of the ISAC.
