ConnectedFarm now offers detailed information from the fields, which allows for a better solution and easier collaboration

On August 26th in Boone, Iowa, during the Farm Progress Show, Trimble unveiled a new app working alongside Connected Farm. It gives farmers and their agronomists access to more detailed information about the land, which allows them to make better decisions about the management of the farm.

Connected Farm Field is a data farmer management tool. The application provides important information such as names of customers, farms and fields, as well as data on these fields, related processing. Users can easily upload field data to Connected Farm in one of three ways: using the Connected Farm Scout app; through Office Sync, Trimble's service for wireless exchange of information between the office and the field, or through the new File Sync service, which allows the user to upload information from displays via USB flash memory.

“Trimble's goal is to increase the usefulness of data for farmers through the Connected Farm Field web application, making it easier to collect and manage,” said Levi Kettle, Connected Farm Business Director for Trimble's Agriculture. “By uploading field data to Connected Farm, we continue to provide farmers with an easy-to-use way to access farm-critical information in one place. In addition, we help farmers and their agronomists easily work together and share the appropriate formats of information through Connected Farm.”

Field data in Connected Farm is immediately ready for use in the Connected Farm Dashboard, Connected Farm Fleet Website, and Farm Works Software. This allows farmers to easily manage information from fields and fleets through their most convenient tool depending on their needs.

The Connected Farm Field web app is the latest addition to Trimble's Connected Farm software solution, which gives farmers access to key information such as rainfall, weather forecast, productivity tracking, fleet management, crop status maps, irrigation monitoring and control. With this information, farmers can more easily decide on their actions. It can also be used by Bulgarian farmers, because the application is also available in our country.Trimble Agriculture
