Plamen Vladimirov talks about his experience with the Kverneland iXTrack T4 trailer sprayer

Plamen Vladimirov is a native of the city of Vidin and has been engaged in agriculture for about 20 years together with his partner Borislav Gochev. Their farm grows grain and oil crops in the area of the lands of Inovo and Major Uzunovo.

Since when have you been working with Kverneland equipment?

Since NIK became Kverneland dealers, we began to work more actively with the Kverneland technique. We started with a donut. Later we bought two more lawnmowers, and now we have purchased an iXtrack T4 sprayer.

Why did you choose the Kverneland iXTrack T4 attachment sprayer?

Honestly, we were looking for a specific machine. It had to be delivered in a very short time and we had specific requirements for the equipment of the machine. In our preliminary research, we saw that Kverneland had exactly the kind of machine we were looking for. Our main requirement was the width of the bars — 36 m, because the whole technology — sowing, spraying, fertilizing is based on this width. Another non-trivial requirement was that the track should be 2.80 m. Most importantly, there is a section-by-section shutdown. Sectional control is an incredible advantage. Kverneland iXTrack T4 meets all our requirements and we are very pleased that we were able to find such a machine.

How do you assess the stability of the bars and their behavior when working in hilly terrain and bad weather?

The system Boom Guide Pro works extremely well with the 5 sensors and constantly maintains height. We usually spray at a height of 50-60 cm above the plants. The system helps especially when spraying in windier weather. The loss of detergent is minimal!

What are the differences between the attachment and the self-propelled sprayer you use?

In fact, we are in no way giving up the conveniences of a self-propelled sprayer. On the contrary — the Kverneland iXTrack T4 sprayer is in no way inferior to a modern self-propelled sprayer. All the extras are exactly the same, with the difference that the price of the attachment sprayer is much more affordable. Service is also many times easier.

How important is the connectivity and compatibility of the machine to you?

For us it is very important that the sprayer is ISOBUS compatible, because we have a lot of equipment and we do not worry about which machine we are going to hook the sprayer to work on.

How do you evaluate your choice of machine now?

I am very happy about the choice we made. Moreover, it was a decision that we had to make quite quickly and the machine delivered in a short time. I am glad that with our partners from NIK we were able to make the delivery fast and on time. This is very important, for a we use the machine exactly when it is needed. I do not regret our choice in any way!
