BATA AGRO 2013 — Under the tent of NIK

From 13 to 17 May at the airport in Stara Zagora, NIK presented the leading technologies for precision agriculture. In addition to GPS equipment Trimble and soil mapping and analysis services offered by NIK Agro Service, irrigation systems Valley and French technological sprayers Berthoud were shown at the stand of the company.
In the case of GPS systems, emphasis was placed on the different types of controls - Autopilot, EZ-Steer and EZ-Pilot, as well as the Trimble Field IQ material control system, which in combination with the Norac UC4+ rod height control module make the operation of the sprayer many times more efficient.
At the exhibition, a model of a self-propelled sprayer of the French manufacturer of technological machines Berthoud from the Raptor series was shown. The machine was equipped with the Norac UC4+, Trimble Field IQ and Trimble Autopilot systems, which further increase its efficiency. The new machine monitoring system was introduced at BATA, which offers more functionalities and the reading of more data from the machines computers via CAN connection. Thus, the owners of agricultural machinery can monitor their condition remotely by having information about revolutions, motorcycle hours, engine load, the amount of fuel in the tank of the machine. In addition to reading CAN data, the new system offers more accurate machine positioning using the GLONNAS satellite signal, which provides one of the highest satellite accuracies.
The services of NIK Agro Service — soil mapping and soil analysis provide farmers with information on soil chemical composition and acidity? and they can be used both for more informed and optimal fertilization and for the needs of measure 214 “Agro-environmental payments”.
