American Apache sprayers demonstrate reliable operation on sloping terrain

At the end of September, a field demonstration of the American Apache sprayers and their work in inclined terrain was held in Northeastern Bulgaria. The sprayer performed impressively in the first place thanks to its mechanical drive and six-speed automatic transmission. In the working position of the bars, the weight distribution is 70% on the rear axle and 30% on the front, which makes the machine off-road in various terrains, as those present at the demonstration noticed.Despite the serious slope, the Apache sprayer moves stably and quickly. This is also due to Cummins engine with a capacity of 300 hp., which has almost no power losses in the transmission of driving torque to the wheels. The JCB differential, the patented Power-To-The-Ground systemand the appropriate tires Michelinalso contribute to the reliable operation of the machine on difficult terrain. The first Apache sprayers have been operating on the Bulgarian fields since the beginning of the year. They have 40-meter Ektar rods with 9 sections, hydraulically adjustable track — from 305 cm to 406 cm and a tank capacity of 4500 l. Their precise operation is guaranteed with navigation displays from Trimble. The combination between Trimble navigation displays and FieldIQ technology gives farmers the certainty of spraying only where and as much as necessary, as the technology allows control of the consumption rate, automatic stop and start of the sections, and real-time analysis of consumables. In October and November Apache sprayers are available with the option of short production and delivery times.
