36 Bulgarian companies joined in the new branch organization - AGROTECH

On 15.12.2021, during an official press conference, the new branch association of producers and importers of agricultural machinery and technology in Bulgaria — AGROTECH was presented.

AGROTECH was established by 36 Bulgarian companies and registered on 19.10.2021. Part of the goals set before the association are the creation of modern conditions and development for the production and sale of agricultural equipment and technologies in Bulgaria. The members of the association will strive for the development of fair competition in the market of agrotechnics and technologies in the country.

AGROTECH is without commercial activity and commercial purposes, which will negotiate equal terms and conditions for all members.

The newly established association will be managed by the Management Board (Board), which consists of four members elected by the General Assembly — Chairman of the Management Board and three members of the Management Board with a term of 2 years:

• Nikolay Mitev, Chairman of the Management Board (Manager of INOVEX Group)
• Lyubomir Zanev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board (Manager of AGROMASHINA Group)
• Kaloyan Kumanov, Member of the Management Board (Executive Director of NIK Smart Machines)
• Mehmed Yumerov, Member of the Management Board (Manager of AGROTRON)

“Automation and digitalization in the sector are trends that need the right regulation — no matter if we are talking about a field robot or a drone, it is important that regulations evolve along with technology. This is one of the directions in which we want to be useful to the state administration,” Kaloyan Kumanov said during the press conference.

One of the first projects of AGROTECH will be jointly with International Fair Plovdiv AD, namely creating a new look of the exhibition known in the sector AGRA. The exhibition will be held from 23 to 27 February 2022in Plovdiv, International Fair. AGROTECH will be co-organizer and will work for a professional exhibition where everyone will have the opportunity to present their products, without restrictions.
