3 Things You Need to Know About UAN Spraying

Did you know that not every sprayer can work with UAN?

To do this, it must meet the following conditions:

1. Lack of elements or parts of non-ferrous metals. They must be made of resistant materials such as polyvinyl, stainless steel or fiberglass.
2. The sprayer frame must withstand an overload of at least 15%, due to the density of UAN 1.32. Otherwise, the sprayer can not be filled completely. For example, if the sprayer collects 4000 liters, it means that it carries 4.64t with a water/UAN 1/1 mixture, instead of 4t if it is only with that. This is 15% more weight.
3. It is preferable that the sprayer pump be centrifugal, without elements of non-ferrous metal or rubber in the body or in the path of the solution.
