The common thing, in fact, turned out to be NIK and the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the company, known as a pioneer in precision agriculture in our country.

Just over 20 years ago, Ivo Kumanov founded NIK while still a student, discovering opportunities for digitizing and improving a number of processes in Bulgarian agriculture.

“NIK is a company that started with a budget of BGN 300 in 2002 from Ivo, and today we operate with a larger budget, we are present in more than 10 countries on 2 continents and a team of more than 280 people. A team that dreams and manages to come true together.” - said Kaloyan Kumanov

For this period, some of the most memorable achievements of the company are the digitization of property borders, the announcement of the first autopilot (today several thousand tractors move on their own), the first satellite crop monitoring platform developed in Eastern Europe and much more that each of you would think of.

Today, the company is a leader not only in the field of precision agriculture, but also in providing complex solutions that help the company's customers lead the progress in agriculture.

NIK — 20 years leading progress in the field

This is a sign that almost every one of us has seen in recent months in various billboard locations around the country. The meeting took place on 25.10.2022 in the John Atanasov Hall, where the event on the occasion of the jubilee took place in the presence of more than 600 people - official guests, partners, customers, friends and employees of NIK.

The company celebrated 20 years with guests from 19 countries to the music of the favorites of many farmers Gypsy Kings, the young Bulgarian artist Dara and an unforgettable drone show. The mood and surprises were expected, but the unexpected was the cause that Ivo and Kaloyan decided to support and to which the anniversary was dedicated.

“Good should not be done in secret, and that is why everyone can see who and how much has donated to our campaign. Why did we choose the cause of Caps for Future? We have known Lazar for many years, we know his mission and the results he has achieved. He himself has changed a lot and will help us do something that will last a long time and save lives.” — shared Kaloyan Kumanov on the occasion of the campaign that NIK supports with his birthday.
